Why is the fix button disabled or missing?

There are a number of times when PerfectIt will disable or not show the 'Fix' button. These include:

• If a check requires you to make changes directly in MS Word (e.g. the check for brackets or quotes left open).
• After you click 'Fix'.
• If the text at the location of an error has been altered or deleted.

In addition, the first location shown in some of the checks of abbreviations is only shown for convenience, not for alteration (e.g. where a definition has been defined twice, the first instance should not be altered and so 'Fix' is not available).
