PerfectIt is intended as one of the last checks that you do on your document after the text is finished. However, some authors prefer to use it earlier on, and some prefer to run it more than once.

• Advantages of using PerfectIt at the end of checking include that it helps to ensure that editors do not introduce new consistency mistakes, and users understand the document better at that stage.
